This was my most successful photograph I took for this Assignment. A captivating sunset infused with vibrant colors, channeling the influence of renowned photographer Galen Rowell. Rowell's mastery in capturing dramatic landscapes, emphasizing light and color for emotional impact, inspired the rich hues and warm tones in my image. It reflects a deep appreciation for nature's beauty. Moving forward, I aim to strengthen my photography by exploring diverse lighting conditions. This commitment to growth stems from the transformative impact of this assignment and aligns with Rowell's dedication to capturing scenes in their most compelling form. This successful sunset photograph serves as a stepping stone for creating even more impactful images in the future.

Hi Nathan, Thank you for sharing your photos. The panoramic photograph you took came out really nice. Not only have you skillfully framed a landscape that is visually appealing, but you've also managed to convey a sentiment reminiscent of Gregory Crewdson's photography. The photographs that you present give off a feeling of seclusion which can make the viewer have many different types of feelings towards it. Overall the photographs came out great, but the only advice I have for your photograph is playing around with the different types of lighting to really portray all of the characteristics in the photograph. Keep up the great work!
Hello Reid! I believe you did a great job of creating a photo inspired by Galen Rowell! The image is extremely aesthetically evaluative and captures the absolute beauty of the sky. This moment you captured in time illustrating how the sky is this clear deep blue containing smooth pink clouds is very eye catching. The pink and blue colors only captures viewers more and allow them to really soak in the beauty that nature brings. The water below it only adds to this calmness and peace this image brings. You did an amazing job of coming up with this photo that correlates with Galen's image. The only suggestion would be to aim for the reflection in the water more as…
Hey Reid! I think you did a fantastic job at replicating the almost otherworldliness showcased in Galen Rowell's photographs. I really like the one shown here. The soft, airiness of the clouds with the vibrant colors from the sunset bouncing off of them; it almost seems like the scene is from a movie. I also love how the sky is a perfect example of complimentary colors with the deep blue and the bright pinkish red. The only suggestion that I have is to try and move around a little bit so the viewer can see more of the surrounding area to help paint a better picture of where the image was taken. Overall, you did a great job with the…
